World Bio Markets and SynBio Markets postponed to March 2021.

Earlier this year with the world rapidly closing down in response to Covid-19 and gatherings of more than 100 people officially banned in The Netherlands it became clear that it would be impossible to run World Bio Markets on the originally scheduled dates in March. We rescheduled the event to early November, more than seven months later, in the hope that this would allow enough time for normality to resume and for us to deliver a positive and well attended event, and took the opportunity to add further value for our participants through the co-location of SynBio Markets and by launching WBM Connect.

Since then we have been carefully monitoring the situation.  Despite general improvement, international travel is currently severely affected by changing quarantine rules, many companies have on-going travel plans in place, and we are aware of understandable personal health concerns.  Although there are still nine weeks until the event, we feel the uncertainty is too great to go ahead with the November dates and through consultation with sponsors, speakers and partners there is an agreed consensus that it would be more beneficial to postpone for a second and final time to March 2021.

Further details will follow, but it will be held at the same venue, the Passenger Terminal in Amsterdam, on March 29th – 31st 2021.
